Summary:

British Council Pakistan is doing a Joint Partnership (JP) with Ufone. This offer is launched for Ufone prepaid customers who give IELTS test through British Council. Five winners will get scholarships of Rs. 5,000,000

This offer is communicated through ATL (TV, Radio, Outdoor, Social Media) and BTL (Campus Activation, SMS, Call center)

Offer:

-       Offer is for Ufone Customers only. If a customer is on any other mobile network, he/she cannot avail the offer. Candidate on other mobile networks will have to acquire a Ufone connection

-       Offer is for those Ufone customers who give IELTS test through British Council. Any candidate who registers and doesn’t give the test by 31^st March is not eligible

-       Candidate can get a chance to win a scholarship of Rs. 1,000,000 to study is any university worldwide. There will be five scholarships given in total making a total scholarship amount of Rs. 5,000,000

-       Scholarship amount will not be handed over to the candidate but to the university directly

Details of Offer:

The joint promo will give a change to Ufone customers who give IELTS through British Council to win a scholarship. One scholarship is of Rs. 1,000,000 while there are five scholarships in total. The campaign will be valid in February and March 2014.

Note:

1.      Any Ufone customer who has given IELTS test can be a part of the campaign by:

Phase 1:

a.       Sending his/her IELTS registration ID to 3242 short code to start the quiz through his/her Ufone connection

b.      10 questions will be sent to the customer against each test.

c.       Customer will have to reply to each question with the correct answer (a to d)

d.      Top 10 winners will be selected for each test dates – criteria is simple i.e. first 10 students to give maximum correct answers in the earliest time frame will be selected as winners

Phase 2:

2.      Top 10 winners of the SMS quiz will be contacted through calls to appear for a presentation in British Council K/L/I office (any of the customer’s convenience)

3.      Presentation topics will be shared in advance with these top 10 people

4.      Panel will finalize a winner – This winner will be awarded with the scholarship for that test dates.

Five test dates will be covered through this campaign (includes two in February and three in March – on each test date one winner will be selected through the mentioned ^ procedure who will get scholarship of worth Rs. 1,000,000)
